We've also begun learning to tell time.  We already know what the clock looks like at 1:00 - that's the time we get up from our nap!  We like to sing our clock song to help us remember the different parts.

The Clock Song

(sung to the tune of The Mulberry Bush

The clock has numbers 1 thru 12, 1 thru 12, 1 thru 12

The clock has numbers 1 thru 12

Who can tell what time it is?

The short hand is the hour hand, hour hand, hour hand

The short hand is the hour hand

Who can tell what time it is?

The long hand is the minute hand, minute hand, minute hand

The long hand is the minute hand

Who can tell what time it is?

this week's scripture memory verse

-recited on Friday, February 27th-

Psalm 23:1 "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want."

this week's bible story

Jesus raises Jairus' daughter and Lazarus from the dead.

This month in chapel we are focusing on prayer - Jesus wants us to talk to Him all the time, and He can answer our prayers!  We are making a prayer request list in class so that we can pray each day for one another.  You can discuss this with your child and help your child think of friends or family members they can pray for, and what to pray for those individuals.  This will help them as they are remembering what to pray in class.

next week's scripture memory verse

-recited on Friday, March 6th-

Psalm 119:11 "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you."

next week's bible story
