We're Setting Up a Post Office
in the tomato (the imagination station) so we can pretend to be helpers in our community just like the ones that deliver the mail. Here are some things that we could use:
-Mail carrier hat (any kind of visor would work)
-Mail bag (duffel)
-Mail (envelopes of different sizes, boxes)
-Packing peanuts or bubble wrap
-Bins for sorting mail
-Name badges
-Stamps (stamp-shaped stickers)
Our Classroom Library Is Looking Great!
Thank you to the Timoce Family for bringing some fun and comfy Spiderman chairs. Now we can't wait for our turn in the reading station!
Thank you to the Tan Family for donating an awesome new CD and cassette player to our classroom library. We're enjoying listening to our audio books!
We love having moms and dads help in the classroom...here are some ways you can get involved:
- Listen to students' individual reading: every morning
- Help students with "job chart" work: every morning
- Track Scripture memory contest progress: Friday mornings
- Track reading and math program completion: Friday mornings
- Run Eagle Store: Friday afternoons
- Count and roll change in missions fundraising jar: 1st of each month
- Prepare materials for bulletin boards: 1st of each month
- Prepare materials for art projects: as needed
